ANGELA G. T. from PINEVILLE, WV

DOT Tire Number: VDHL

Make of Vehicle: 1998 FORD EXPLORER

I AM THE OWNER OF A 1998 FORD EXPLORER WITH FIRESTONE WILDERNESS ATX TIRES.I HAVE BEEN PUT ON TWO WAITING LISTS. IT HAS BEEN FOR TWO MONTHS.I FEEL EVERYDAY I AM IN DANGER, MY WIFE DRIVES HER EXPLORER TO WORK DAILY, THREE OF THE TIRES HAVE SIGNS OF SEPERATION. SO NOT ONLY DO I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT VECHICLE,AND MY WIFE. I AM AS WORRIED ABOUT MEETING SOMEONE PASSING ME IN THE LANE WITH FAULTLY TIRES.THE HIGHWAYS ARE DANGEROUS ENOUGH WITHOUT THE WORRY OF TIRE BREAKDOWN THAT IS EVIDENT. MY FORD DEALER TOLD ME THEY ORDERED REPLACEMENT MICHELIN TIRES FOR ME, HOWEVER, THEY CALLED AND OFFERED A REPLACEMENT WITH MORE FIRESTONE TIRES. I DO NOT WANT MORE FIRESTONE TIRES,I DO NOT TRUST FIRESTONE. I WAS TOLD THE WAIT COULD BE ANOTHER 60-90 DAYS. I HAVE ALREADY WAITED 60 DAYS. I THINK THIS IS FORDS WAY OF SAVING THEMSELVES SOME MONEY. I WILL NOT BE A REPEAT FORD OWNER!
